Our Pilates instructor course follows Joseph Pilates’ original Contrology principles and exercises, which is a testament to how effective they are and how much they’ve stood the test of time. This qualification has been created with your success in mind. So, whether you have designs on becoming a Pilates teacher, developing your own brand, or even branching out to instruct at retreats worldwide, you’ll be able to do so once qualified. If you want to further broaden your horizons, we also offer Pilates instructor courses as career packages.
There are no formal entry requirements for this Pilates instructor course, although if you do have a fitness instructor or personal trainer qualification, you will be at a slight advantage. We do however insist that you have prior experience of performing Pilates exercises or attending classes regularly. This will enable you to get the best possible head start.
This Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Mat Pilates (RQF) is fully accredited by YMCA Awards and is recognised by CIMSPA.

Our Level 3 Pilates teacher training course is assessed continually to ensure that the assessment methods do not become too taxing or challenging for you. Our team of dedicated Learner Support Tutors will work tirelessly with you to ensure you are suitably prepared for every assessment. Here’s a summary of how you’ll be assessed throughout the course.
Note: All practical courses starting in 2025 will not include the anatomy and physiology theory exam. This assessment is replaced with online and open book knowledge and understanding workbooks which can be completed as you students progress through their qualification.
